22–29 June 2026
Small Charity Week
Small Charity Week is a campaign that amplifies and supports the amazing work of small charities across the UK.
Join us this year to raise funds while providing access to practical support and new connections - so organisations can continue their invaluable work.
Help us raise much needed funds for small charities
Resilient charities can create stronger communities. But, the reality is, small charities are under more pressure than ever. Costs are rising, demand is increasing and funding is falling.
Our partnership with the Big Give and Global’s Make Some Noise is vital to helping small charities have an even bigger impact in 2026, through support and match funding.
Applications for match funding are now open. Apply by Wednesday February 11 2026.
Make a difference
This year, NCVO is teaming up with Big Give and Global’s Make Some Noise on a match funding campaign.
Donate to one of the small charities selected between 22-29 June and we’ll double it. One donation – double the difference.
A huge thank you to our generous Champions, players of People’s Postcode Lottery and all the funders whose support made this campaign possible.
What is Small Charity Week?
Small Charity Week is a campaign to empower the UK’s small charities to have an even greater impact on society, and to address the challenges they face.

Throughout the week, we provide training and events for small charities, and create a national conversation about the vital role of small charities in strengthening communities across the UK.
Because when small charities are stronger, the communities they support are stronger too.
